Privacy, consent & legal notices

Your data, handled with care

Most IGNYT participants are minors. This notice explains what we collect, why, and how parents and guardians stay in control.

What we collect and why

When a team registers, we collect participant names, grades, school details, parent or guardian contact details and any medical or allergy disclosures. We use this to run the event safely, contact teams and schools, and keep participants safe during the 24-hour challenge.

How long we keep it and who can access it

Registration data is accessible only to the IGNYT’26 organising team at Bloomingdale International School. It is kept for 12 months after the event and then deleted.

Photography and media consent

Photos and videos taken during IGNYT’26 may be used for promotional purposes. Consent is collected at registration.

Opting out of promotional use

A parent or guardian can ask for their child to be excluded from promotional photos and videos at any time by emailing info@ignyt-bis.com with the participant’s name and school.

Full terms are set out in the Rules & Regulations, Section 19.
